Our Story
In 2013, the current chef and owner of Phở Lux introduced Phở Hùng, which was recognized by renowned food critic Alison Cook as one of Houston’s most esteemed establishments, earning it a place in both of Cook’s Top 100 restaurants in 2014 and 2015.
"The moment the steaming bowl of soup lands on my table at Phở Hùng, the rest of the universe falls away from me. There's only the scent of scallion and beef broth; the delicate taste of cinnamon on my tongue; the slip and slide of long springy noodles."
In 2024, the concept of Phở Lux was conceived to commemorate the chef’s and owner’s pride in being a Houstonian, while simultaneously preserving traditional Vietnamese cuisine and honoring her passion for car enthusiasts.

Self-made entrepreneur with a multimillion-dollar spa sector in Aliana, Texas. Additionally, the owner is a renowned chef who received a culinary critic award for their recipe, which was unveiled by Alison Cook. The chef’s restaurant was ranked number one in Houston’s top 100 restaurants in both 2014 and 2015.
